Alan Brown, certified Golf Teaching Pro
In the beginning....
Alan has been teaching Golf since November of 2002, when he became a Certified Golf Teaching Professional at the Baytree Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, SC, with the United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF), the world's largest organization of strictly Golf Teaching Pros.
Alan has taught at all levels, from beginners to single-digit handicap golfers, from 8 years old to Seniors.
Since everyone has a unique physical build, there is never one template that works for everyone, so you can be sure that your lesson will be personalized based on your needs.
Alan is certified in the three key areas of golf game improvement: technical training, mental training, and physical training.
Our Commitment
Alan says, "to teach golf effectively and get the respect of your students, one must be able to maintain a respectable single-digit handicap, so staying in shape and playing golf as much as I can is a priority."
Winning tournaments is that much better, and Alan loves to compete whenever and wherever he can.
Staying abreast of the latest training aids is also essential to accurately recommend the most effective ones to his students.
Winding Down...
The picture to the left is when Alan won the USGTF Northeast Regional Championship in June of 2024.

- Olde Masters Golf Range, Mays Landing, NJ
- First Tee of Atlantic City
Due to some recent health issues, Alan's teaching has been limited to:
- Playing Lessons on a golf course, and
- Indoor teaching on a well-respected golf simulator. (locations to be determined)
