Estimator - GC (Civil / Mechanical) in Somerset County, NJ
Job Description
PAGE Consulting, LLC is representing a growing General Contracting Firm (Civil / Mechanical) in Somerset County, NJ that has been in business for over 30 years, they are doing over $100 million in business and due to their growth, they have a need for an Estimator with knowledge and field experience in Site Development, Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Structural CIP Concrete and Masonry.
The ideal candidate will possess:
· 3+ yrs. experience as an Estimator or if not in estimating, experience in the field for a self-performing, Union Labor, Heavy Construction Company as a Superintendent, Project Engineer or PM so that they can visualize and understand what’s going on.
· A Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technologies.
· An Ability to prepare accurate/detailed Quantity Take-offs, Change Orders, Cost Estimates, Sch of Values, and Proposals for construction projects in the Public/Private Sector.
· An Extreme focus to detail and solid communication skills (Electronic and Verbal)
· A willingness to work full-time in a quiet Office environment with intermittent work site visits
· Exceptional computer skills and document control abilities
Projects are in the range of $100k to $10 million.
The position is paying in the $80-120k area, possibly more, depending on experience, plus bonus (based on personal and company performance) along with a comprehensive full medical benefits package and 401k.
